Condolences

Dedicated dad

Russ always had a smile and a greeting for me. I've been close with his son Mike for 20+ years. Though I didn't know him very well, Russ and Susie were always kind to me when I was growing up, treating me like family. The most frequently I saw Russ was in Mike's photos because he was so proud of the projects they worked on together. It was heartwarming to see--I wish everybody had a dad who taught them leather craft! I think the last time I had a conversation with Russ was on the way to a Humane Society Pints for Pets event. I remember thinking that I hope to be attending outdoor events with friends like Russ at age 72. He was a great dad and grandfather who maintained a life rich with hobbies and friendships.
