Nancy G. Imler

March 8, 1932 – April 12, 2018

Nancy G. Imler, 86, Altoona, passed away Thursday morning at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center from complications of congestive heart failure.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late David A. and M. Christina (Isenberg) Graham. She married William H. Imler Jr., on Sept. 8, 1956, in Lakemont and he preceded her in death in 1976.

She is survived by two sons: William H. Imler III of Marietta, GA and Stuart G. Imler (Carol) of Spring Hill, TN; two daughters: Lesley I. Shoup (Rob) of Monongahela, PA and Suzanne M. Yang (Vincent) of Hewitt, TX; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Morrison, with whom she resided.

She was predeceased by a brother, David R. Graham and a brother-in-law, John W. Morrison, Sr.

Nancy was a 1950 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.  She retired from Passavant Hospital of Allison Park, PA, as Director of Pastoral Care.  She served for many years as a Judge of Elections in Middlesex Twp., Butler County.

Nancy was a member of the Ward Ave. Presbyterian Church.  She was an ordained Presbyterian Elder and past moderator of the Presbyterian Women from the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.

Services were held at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
