Mary Pauline (Robison) Ott

Mary Pauline (Robison) Ott, 89, passed away Saturday afternoon at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.

She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late George H. and Julia E. (Smith) Robison. She married Kenneth Crawford Ott of Hollidaysburg on July 19, 1952, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1995.

Surviving are two sons: Gregory Allen Ott and wife, Deborah Nash Ott, of Weatogue, Conn. and Kenneth C. Ott II of Duncansville; a daughter, Christie L. Ott and partner, Brad Smith; two grandsons: Jeremy Charles Ott and wife, Molly, of Boston, Mass. and Jason Kenneth Ott of Hartford, Conn.; a sister-in-law, Delores Ott of Hollidaysburg; and a niece, Lenore Ott of Hollidaysburg.

She was preceded in death by her only sister, Christie Lorene Robison of Hollidaysburg.

Ken and Mary were long time members of the Holliday Rovers Camping Club of Hollidaysburg and the Chimrock Squares square dance club of Lakemont. She enjoyed listening to hymns and country music.  She had a passion for camping and hosting parties, and liked to sew and make crafts. She was active in her church, St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg and the Blair Senior Center in Claysburg.

Since Mary donated her body to medical research, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at St. John’s Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg, by Pastor William Zimmerman.

In lieu of flowers or cards, the family asks that donations in memory of Mary be made to the Blair County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
