Ida Rose Davis, 94, Altoona, passed away Saturday at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. 

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas and Ida (Cilia) Bidoli. 

Surviving are two children: Sue Ann Daniele and husband Ed of Altoona, Billy Davis and wife Maggie of Greensburg, PA; Son in Law: Tom Wild and wife Becky of Washington, PA; Grandchildren: Eric Stoehr, Beth Wild, Lauren Bodart and husband Mike, Carrie Bieranoski and husband Justin, Sara Davis, Jackie Stere and husband Zach, Jeff Davis and wife Jessica; Great Grandchildren:  Zack Stoehr, Abby, Elliot and Oliver Bodart, Jonah and Jane Bieranoski, Connor and Mason Stere, Mabel and Madeline Davis; Step Grandchilden:  Yvonne Prevost, Yvette Daniele, Erik Daniele; Nieces:  Karen McGraw and Mary Lou Martin;  Nephews:  Don Bidoli and Tommy Yeager; and several great nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by daughter Cathy Jo Wild; brother Albert, an infant brother Leonard; sisters:  Louise Bidoli, Rose Bidoli, Minnie Bidoli and Mary Yeager.

Ida was a 1943 graduate of Altoona Area High School.  Her entire life was devoted to faith, family and friendships.  She was a lifelong member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament parish.  Ida was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, pinochle, puzzles, Pittsburgh and local sports, long conversations with friends, attending activities at the Central Blair Senior Center and the Lutheran Home, her daily devotions, and endless pride in her grandchildren.  Ida was selfless in support of charitable causes, especially those involving her faith, children, and veterans.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2019, at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to their favorite charities in her honor.
