Dora A. Rosian

Dora A. Rosian, 90, Patton, passed away June 23, 2016 at home.  She was born October 7, 1925 in East Carroll Twp., the daughter of Florest and Pearl (Beckwith-Weeks) Gobert.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother in infancy.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Frederick J. Rosian; children, Ronald F. (Linda) Rosian, Patton and Kathy M. (Walter) Fieser, Johnstown, grandchildren Michele, Cindy, Ron Jr., Jaime, Jodi, Joshua and Jill; great-grandchildren Nicolas, Gabriel, Jacob, Elijah, Aubrey, Nellie, Grace, Abraham, Cambria, Rachel, Ruthie, Rylie, Lexi, Katelyn, Vincent, and Vanessa.  She is also survived by her sister Eleanor Baker, Patton, and by numerous nieces and nephews.  Dora was a 1943 graduate of Patton High School. She worked for Sylvania during the war and had also been employed at the Van Huesin Shirt factory and the Patton American Legion.  She spent her life being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Patton, and was also affiliated with Joyline Ministries and the Calvary Evangelical Churches.  She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking and baking.  Dora was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and always put her family first.  Friends will be received from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 1004 N. Fifth Ave. Patton.  A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home by Pastor Jim Smith.  Committal, Fairview Cemetery, Patton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial are requested to the World Gospel Mission. (
