Donald M. “Spike” McNulty Sr., 72, Carrolltown passed away March 9, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1945 in Carrolltown the son of Charles and Lucy (Farabaugh) McNulty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Charles, Arnold, Dorothy Enler, Betty Supinski and Erma Rizinger. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Thelma (Farabaugh) McNulty. Children, Donald (Apryl) McNulty Jr., Karen (Ronald) Mock, Kenneth (Kara) McNulty, Susan (Luke) Gerber, Cynthia (Stephen) Cunningham, Patrick McNulty, James McNulty and Douglas (Heather) McNulty; 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Marie Novella, William, Albert “Buck”, George, Katherine Gibson, Frances Hall, Hilda Baird, Eileen McMullen, Lois Farabaugh and Rose Klatt and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was an active farmer and had also been employed as a coal miner, school bus and truck driver. He was a lifelong member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday March 12, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 146 N. Main St. Carrolltown where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown.
