Dolores “Dee” A. Cavallo, 79, of Patton, passed away April 11, 2017 at home. She was born September 3, 1937 in Nicktown, the daughter of Raymond and Marie (Hoppel) Lieb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William E. Cavallo, daughter Mary Katherine, grandson William LeCrone in infancy, brothers Max and Henry Lieb, and sister Rita Knuff. She is survived by children Susan (Patrick) Litzinger, Patton, PA; Andrea (James) Bailey, Buckhannon, WV; William Cavallo, Jr., East Petersburg, PA; Amanda (Charley) LeCrone, Denver, CO; grandchildren Danielle, Bethany, Edward, Gabriel and Delaney; brother Ray Lieb, N. Olmstead, OH; sister Jane (Pat) Byrnes, Parma, OH; a special “adopted daughter” Mary Mishler; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Mount Aloysius and retired as the Hastings Tax Collector after 23 years of service. She was member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton Senior Center, Senior Citizens, Hastings VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and Fire Ladies. Dee loved playing cards and triominoes with the ladies at the Meadows, was an avid bingo player and a devoted Catholic. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., 1004 North Fifth Avenue, Patton, PA 16668, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass will take place Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church by Benedictine Fathers- and interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Nicktown, PA. Memorials are requested to Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, PA.
