Helen Teresa Hanlon, 87, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Altoona, passed away Thursday at Garvey Manor after a brief illness.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph D. and Anna (Schoch) Rahm.  She married Richard E. Hanlon on Sept. 12, 1959. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1986.

Margaret J. Martin, 87, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.  She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Wilbert and Marjorie (Medley) Johnson.  She married William Martin, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters:  Olivia Martin and Marquetta Roberts of Pittsburgh, Faye Ray of Altoona; and one grandchild, Nicholas Ray.

Mary T. Pressler, 88, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William P. and Anna (Zauner) Neff.  On November 18, 1952, she married Carl E. “Brownie” Pressler at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  He preceded her in death on April 7, 2015.

Michael E. Dionis, 38, St. Petersburg, Fla, formerly of Altoona, passed away Friday in Florida.  He was born in Altoona, son of Edward D. and Judith (Kephart) Dionis. 

Surviving are his parents; a brother, Chad E. (Paula) Dionis of Altamonte Springs, Fla; many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much; and many lifelong friends who will miss him greatly.

It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of my brother Thomas J. Fadale. 

Thomas was a good man with a love of cats and all animals.  His life was not always easy and yet his strength saw him through the toughest of times. 

He is survived by his closest friend Karen, his sister Nanette, brother in law Barry, nephew William and his wife Daniela and their 3 beautiful children.  He will be greatly missed.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Edgar F. and Ethel (Bigelow) Winters.  On June 30, 1950, she married Theodore A. “Ted” Beam, Sr. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Altoona.  She met Ted, who survives, roller skating at the Jaffa Mosque.

Ruth B. Kelley, 93, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Glen White, Logan Township, daughter of the late Thomas A. and Georgia M. (Dunmire) Eichenlaub.   On June 23, 1945 she married Oscar E. Kelley in Altoona and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1986.

John Nepomuk Zitzlsperger, Jr, 82, Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona.  He was born in Altoona, son of the late John N. Sr. and Rosina (Schafflhuner) Zitzlsperger.

Surviving are his niece:  Laurie A Zitzlsperger (Thomas) Ricketts; great niece, Olivia; great nephew, Nathaniel; sister-in-law, Shirley Zitzlsperger; and a special cousin, Rosemary Long and husband Bill Long.

Anna B. Pielmeier, 94, Altoona, passed away Friday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Ratzer) Lechner.  On October 16, 1954, she married Paul Pielmeier, who preceded her in death on February 11, 1985.
