Priscilla Ann Adams, 71, Altoona, formerly of Montclair, VA, died Friday at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg following a brief illness.  She was born in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Richard and Joan (Ried) Phillips.  Her biological mother passed away giving birth to Priscilla and she was raised by her loving mother, Evelyn Phillips, second wife of Richard Phillips. She married the late Gary Adams who preceded her in death in February of 2017.

He is survived by two brothers: Robert Ream of Altoona and Lester (Josephine) Ream of Cleveland, Oh; nephew, John Ream of Cleveland, Oh; nieces:  Sondra Zupon of Patton, Tonya Earnest of Salix, Michelle Ponsart of Cleveland, Oh; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

James D. Hitchings, 78, Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona.  He was born in Altoona, son of John and Mary (Richards) Hitchings.  He married Sarah M. Howard on May 29, 1974.  She preceded him in death in 1988.

Surviving are four daughters:  Christine (John) Bliss, Mary (Harry) Hovenstine, Sylvia Michaels, and Dawn Santalucia all of Williamsport; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six siblings.
