KALENISH – Helen Gresko, 96, passed away on February 26, 2015, at Windber Hospice with her children, Janet Kalenish and John R. Kalenish, by her side. She was born on November 27, 1918, the daughter of George and Mary Mayernick Gresko.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers  and sisters, and  husband, John who died on January 15, 1993.  She is survived by her children, Janet and John and her beloved grandchildren, twins Kennadie Marie Kalenish and Jonathan Michael Kalenish who are eight years old, and Andrew Carter Kalenish, age five.

COSSITOR – Dorothy “Dolly,” 92, Ebensburg, formerly of Patton, passed away Feb. 19, 2015, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born May 28, 1922, in Patton, daughter of Frederick and Dorothy (Chapman) Morey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Cossitor, whom she married Jan. 28, 1945; brothers, Frederick Morey and James Morey; and sister Donna Hodgate.

COSSITOR – Dorothy “Dolly,” 92, Ebensburg, formerly of Patton, passed away Feb. 19, 2015, at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. Born May 28, 1922, in Patton, daughter of Frederick and Dorothy (Chapman) Morey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter P. Cossitor, whom she married Jan. 28, 1945; brothers, Frederick Morey and James Morey; and sister Donna Hodgate.

William J. Waugh

William J. "Bill" Waugh, 57, Patton, passed away February 13, 2015 at UPMC Altoona. He was born March 29, 1957 in Spangler the son of the late Philip and Flora (Robinson) Waugh. He is survived by his brothers, Scott and Tim Waugh both of Patton and several nieces and nephews. Bill was currently employed as a custodian with Cambria Heights School District and had previously been employed at Greewich Colleries and Freight Car America. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Patton and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at camp.

Dorothy Jean Bowery Stumpf, 77, East Earl, PA, formerly of Hastings passed away at Hospice of Lancaster on February 11, 2015 in the presence of her daughter Cynthia's loving handhold after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born March 26, 1937 in Clearfield, PA the daughter of Fred H. and Zelma J. (Hall) Bowery.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Joseph L. Stumpf, Jr. whom she married February 22, 1957, son Joseph L. Stumpf III, daughter in infancy Susan Kaye, sister Mary J. Townsend and brother Fred Bowery, Jr.

PATRICK – Donald J. “Corkey,” 77, Flinton, passed away Feb. 12, 2015, at UPMC Altoona. Born July 1937, in Spangler, son of John J. and Sarahellen (Smith) Patrick.  Survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Lou (Brown) Patrick; brother, Ronald J., and sister-in-law, Rosalie Patrick, Duncansville; very special aunt, Delores “Dee” Patrick, Patton, very dear friends William and Catherine Meredith, Flinton and many nieces and nephews. Donald was a graduate of Patton High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran and retiree, having served in Antarctica and Vietnam.

BUDNIK – Helen T., 91, Patton, formerly of Coalport, passed away Jan. 31, 2015, at Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born Nov. 15, 1923, in Mascot, Pa., daughter of Martin and Anna (Orichosky) Smolko. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Budnik, whom she married Nov. 14, 1943. Survived by her sons, William H. (Carol) Budnik, Charlestown, R.I.; and Arthur G.

Lucille A. Rudy

RUDY – Lucille A., 90, Patton, passed away Jan. 11, 2015, at Valley View Home in Altoona. Born July 29, 1924, in St. Boniface, daughter of John G. and Anna Mary (Brickner) Burkhart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Rudy; and siblings, Margaret, Callistus, Norbert, Mary, Germain, Raphael, Gertrude, John, Wilfred and Francis. Lucille was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Agnes Falls,96, Pittsburgh, formerly of Patton, passed away January 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 7, 1918 in Patton, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Burek) Tinnick.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Francis "Chick" Falls, 17 brothers and sisters Susan, Mary, Mike, Joseph, Mary, John, Paul, Helen, Steve, Anna, Elizabeth, Margaret, Pauline, Michael, Mildred, Eva and George, great grandchildren Charles John and Anthony Michael, son in law John Dutko.
