Bonnie J. Williams, 72, Waterford, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Hamot, Erie.  She was born in Williamsport, daughter of the late Elmer and Virginia (Miller) Rittenhouse.  She married Peter D. Williams on December 12, 1964.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Heather A. Harrington (Gerald) of Waterford; two grandchildren; Josephine and Rachel; and a brother, Norman E. Rittenhouse in CA. 

She was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Hamburger University in Oakbrook, IL. She retired from the Hollidaysburg Senior High School where she worked as a secretary for 20 years.

Bonnie belonged to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Red Cross Blood Services and Disaster Services, Friends of the Hollidaysburg Library and Girls Night Out Altoona Inc.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018, at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 Eighth Avenue, Altoona.  A funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hollidaysburg, the Reverend Jeanne Jacobson officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
